Dr. Pallavi Raj is a Senior Consultant with Sharp Sight Eye Hospitals. She completed her MBBS from the prestigious Calcutta Medical College, followed by DNB in Ophthalmology from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. She further pursued a Fellowship in Glaucoma from Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, one of India’s leading eye institutes and worked there for 5 years. 

With over 16 years of clinical experience working in top institutes, she has developed extensive expertise in phacoemulsification cataract surgery and comprehensive glaucoma management, including complex surgical cases. She routinely performs advanced cataract procedures in challenging scenarios and is experienced in glaucoma surgeries, including Trabeculectomies and Ahmed Glaucoma Valve implantation.

She was awarded the Best Surgeon in a surgical video competition at the OPL session during the West Bengal Annual State Conference 2025, competing amongst leading surgeons of India. She has presented numerous papers in National and state level Conferences. She has also published scientific papers in reputed international journals . 

Her clinical interests include cataract surgery, glaucoma, refractive surgeries and anterior segment disorders. She is committed to delivering patient-centric, evidence-based eye care and remains actively engaged in academic and clinical advancements in ophthalmology.
